After the recent success of his first two songs Nemesis (February 2017) and City Beat (4th December 2018) gathering a whopping 2 lakh+ views on YouTube, Mumbai singer-songwriter Sooraj Bishnoi will be releasing his debut 11 track album ‘Here We Go’ in January 2019. City Beat received 1,00,000+ views alone in a span of two weeks.

Sooraj will be performing with a full band setup at Above the Habitat in Mumbai on the 4th of January 2018. He will be supported by Aarya Gadkari, who also recently released an EP.

When asked about the concept behind his debut album, Sooraj said, “The idea behind the album was basically write, write, write and get better at it! It’s a culmination of five years’ worth of writing and playing and my journey through music. I called it “Here We Go,” because it’s my debut album, a launchpad of sorts for my music - plus I say that phrase quite a lot!”

24-year-old Sooraj is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer and arranger. After having completed his music production course at the True School of Music in Mumbai, he is currently pursuing music studies at Musician’s Institute in Los Angeles, USA. His unbridled passion for music has always kept him composing and writing more. Music is Sooraj’s life, by definition.
