Gajendra Verma, Singer/Composer of One of the Most Viral Song of 2018 Tera Ghata releases his new music video Khelegi Kya. Gajendra Verma the artist behind several viral songs like Emptiness – Tune Mere Jaana, Tera Ghata, Ik Kahani, Mera Jahan, Mann Mera. Khelegi Kya is the first song from his album "Flip". His brand new single Khelegi Kya portrays Gajendra in a new light. The soulful singer showcases his upbeat side with a youthful song that possesses a catchy beat, much to the surprise of his fans.

Gajendra who is very excited about the release says that he enjoys experimenting with romantic songs, may it be Mera Jahan or Tera Ghata or now Khelegi Kya, which is again a very unique way of proposal. “I’m a 90’s kid and grew up listening to pop songs from that decade. Songs like ‘Urvashi-Urvashi’ and ‘Patti Rap” were favourites that I used to listen to on loop. I always wanted to sing songs like those and waited for the day when I could get people tapping their feet to my beat. I wanted to showcase my fun side as well, a side that was hidden, yet always there”. says Gajendra, when asked why he chose to stray away from his usual moody melodies. 

Gajendra believes that as an artist, your style needs to evolve as you do. While he has carved a niche for himself by singing relatable songs about heartbreak and loneliness in a relationship, in his new single, he maintains that he still sings about relationships, but focuses on a more thrilling angle – the start, rather than the end. “The song is still romantic” he says, “but the style is different. In Khelegi Kya, the focus is on the exciting potential start of a relationship – when you’re testing your limits and exploring a new romance.”

This utterly feel-good tune captures the essence of a beginning in a new relationship – the giddy phase before dating, when you haven’t settled into a relationship but feel a heady rush of excitement and discovery in the person’s presence. 

Adding cheery to the cake is super talented Vikram Singh's direction who is known for making cinematic music videos through his direction. Vikram says that doing this video was a very different experience as it was all about portraying Gajendra in a very different light and the audience will realize that when they watch the video. The song features TV actress Sana with her cute dimple smile and dance moves. The song is amazingly choreographed by the Bollywood famous choreographer duo Piyush – Shazia as they dance in Sook Siam, Chang Chui, Thailand. The catchy beat has Gajendra, a desi boy, rapping and dancing in front of colourful street murals as he wonders where he stands in his potential match with a modern girl. “It is the first time Gajendra has done a rap and dance music video” says Director, Vikram Singh.
