The Fanculos is a horn-fronted, five-piece power band who have launched their latest self titled album 'The Fanculous Album'. Each song in this album has it's own tone and approaches the listener with a different emotion each time the song changes. Every single track on this album has a unique message to it. The album has a free-flowing theme, much like the band themselves- they let the music carry them where they need to be!  

Who are The Fanculos:

The Fanculos was dreamt up by Italian/Guyanese British-born musician Ramon Ibrahim. Ramon was heavily influenced at an early age by British Ska bands and recently set about writing an original set based on his own interpretation of Ska, reggae and lots of other cool things. Their live set is a mixture of high energy Ska, dub, reggae,funk and even more high-energy SKA! The main focus of this band are their energetic live performances ,audience interaction, good times and just general fanculery.

The main focus of this band is live performance, audience interactio, good times and just general fanculery. In 2017 they released their first EP Gangsta TV which is being received extremly well by their fans as well as the media. In December they were voted “Band of the Month” by Score Magazine.

The Fanculos presently consists of JJ on Drums, Saurab Suman on Bass, Ryan Sadri on Tenor Sax, Apurv “Lala” Isaac on Guitars and BackingVocals and Ramon Ibrahim on Vocals, Keys and Trombone The band has showcased themselves at a number of festivals like Sula Fest, Nariyal Paani, Under 25, Kwala (Reunion Island), Covelong Point Surf, Beer Circus, Echoes of Earth, Wonderflip, Goa Sunsplash, Vh1 Supersonic and Beantown Backyard festival in the last year and half.
