Worli Festival 5.0 which also aims to celebrate the land of Worli and its inhabitants,the Kolis swayed Mumbaikars on the weekend of 26^th  and 27^th January 2019. Shouting loud of being in its fifth edition, Shri Sankalpa Pratishthan helmed by Sangeeta Ahir and Sachin Ahir brought this vibrant music fest under one roof.

Offering a perfect enjoyment to people on Republic Day holiday period, the Worli Festival had a unique theme this year and a fabulous line-up too. The festival aims to promote celebrating life by adding a touch of music to it.

With some fabulous music played by noteworthy musicians, the Worli Festival was a total bang-on with mind boggling performances of  Indian flautist and music composer  Milind Date, Bollywood Playback singer Hrishikesh Chury, India’s first pop boy band A Band of Boys, Indian Idol finalist Charu Semwal, Bollywood singer Shibani Kashyap and Mumbai based vocal experimental band Euphony.

Many enjoyed the evening programmes with the best sea view you can ask for, audience including toddlers to old fogey were unable to get enough of the performances.

It seems that The Festival 5.0 is on the way of becoming a global festival as visitors from Spain, Italy, Canada and Iran were seen shaking legs at the musical event  Film producer Sangeeta Ahir amazed the audience with the trailer of her latest produced film ‘Total Dhamal’.

Apart from music, the fest also had stalls selling delicious and mouth watering food to wht the appetite of music lovers. There were stalls of clothes and fashion accessories to impress shoppers. The flea games were also an add on for gamers.

All in all, the Worli Festival 5.0 came out as a magical weekend for Mumbaikars, filled with games, enjoyment, and the best of all, an aura filled with best in class music. If you missed visiting Worli 5.0,  sit back because the main facilitator of the festival  - Sachin Ahire and Rahul Gomes has promised that there is much more to enjoy at worli 5.0 in coming years.
