MTV Hustle is into its 7^th week and witnessing a thrilling rap battle, as the fight between the contestants is getting tougher and intense by the day. This week, to pump up the rap saga, popular Indian music director and record producer Shekhar Ravjiani made a starry appearance as the guest judge on the show. Welcomed by a loud cheer and a warm applause, Shekhar gave a hit performance as the kick starter to the show.

On being a part of MTV Hustle as the guest judge, Shekhar commented, “I can’t express how happy I am to be a part of MTV Hustle. This is the biggest reality show, the only reality show, so it just feels great to be a part of this entire thing. Every week, these contestants write their own original songs and perform. I have not seen any other reality show, which comes out with original content like MTV Hustle. Its unbelievable, with great talent, great mentors and a great team out here.” On being asked about the current rap evolution, Shekhar says, “People will now know rap is, after this show.”   

The upcoming week of MTV Hustle will see some power-packed performances by the contestants, as well as by the judges. Singer and songwriter Rashmeet Kaur joins Raftaar and Nucleya to give a stellar performance, as Nucleya dons the hat of a DJ. Raja Kumari, who was joined by rapper Sharul, brings the house down with her electrifying gig.  

The biggest highlight of this week’s episode will be the epic rap banter between the contestants. M-Zee Bella sets the stage on fire with a rap, critiquing and dissing fellow contestants, which will be followed by a series of counter-arguments, where the contestants openly challenge each other for what lies ahead in the competition. Mentor Raftaar took on this heated moment and advised the rappers to keep up a healthy competitive spirit and not take on each other outside of competition. This banter is not to be missed!

And that’s not all, the weekend episode will also be showcase of girl power in a true sense of the term. Both the female rappers of MTV Hustle, Agrita Dhawan aka Agsy and Riya Panchal aka Raeza addressed grave issues of drug abuse and body shaming, respectively through their performance and won accolades from all the mentors. Shekhar continued to spread his charm and hummed to the tunes of his hit song, Ishq Wala Love with one of the contestants Gaurav, aka VOID and took the audience in awe.
