Ketan Mohite has slowly but surely making waves in the music industry with his uplifting music. The singer-songwriter from Mumbai, is currently the Artist Manager at Roland India. 

Passionate about music from a young age, Mohite tuned into the likes of artists who performed Indie pop songs like Loveology, Aisa hota hai by Shaan & Saagarika, Made in India by Alisha Chinai, O Sanam by Lucky Ali, Silk Route and KK and many others. It was here that he found his calling to make music. He was further influenced by the legends of international music like the Beatles and Bon Jovi among others.

Mohite went on to study Engineering and completed his MBA in Marketing, but soon after when he got the opportunity to compose a song for a German short film titled ‘Away’, he knew he had to make his way back into music and that's when he joined Furtados School of Music for a few years.

Learning the ropes there, he fulfilled his aspirations to aim higher and soon released his debut single Main Kaun Hoon in the year 2018. The song includes artist like Gino Banks on drums, Rhythm Shaw on acoustic guitar and Nyzel D’Lima on bass.  Since then, he has been performing his originals at Prithvi Theatre and has been learning from Vasundhara Vee (Vocal Coach and Artist).

Mohite recently released his second single Raahein which is an Indie folk song about Life, Mother Nature and Journey, featuring leading musicians like Nyzel D’Lima on acoustic/electric/bass/keys, Darshan Doshi on drums/percussions, Rajeev Prasanna on flute, vocal coach Vasundhara Vee and on backing vocals Ryan Dias and Gwen Dias. With the help of Vishal Devare, he has also shot a beautiful music video to support the song. This song is a perfect travel song which will take you to a different space.

Mohite believes in “Living the dream of being an Independent artist. His motto is ‘Do what you love and love what you do’.  May the force be with him always.
