‘Yaadon ki Bahar’ homeopath Dr. Mukesh Batra's 10th musical nite was held on 21^st January, 2020 at the Sophia Bhabha Auditorium in Mumbai. The Chief Guest for the evening was Bollywood actor and former member of the Lok Sabha Shri Shatrughan Sinha.

The event kick started with Dr Batra’s grandson Heman who paid a tribute to his grandfather with a song Zindagi Ek Safar Hai Suhana.

Staying true to its purpose, the musical event was followed by Dr. Batra singing famous songs like Neele Neele Ambar from the 1983 film ‘Kalakaar’, Tujhse Naaraz Nahi Zindagi from the film ‘Masoom’, Lag ja Gale from the film ‘Woh Kaun Thi, and many others. A couple Tammana Naaz and Sahid Merchant who had won the Facebook Contest said that it was their first time at such an event. "If such an event happens again, I'll come again!" said a vibrant Tasneem.

Since it was a medley of yesteryear songs, Dr Batra sang several romantic numbers from the 70s and 80s. His melodious voice mesmerized the audience, who enjoyed the programme. Tabla player Vivek Kulkarni who started his career in 1995 and has worked with singer Bappi Lahri has been in working in ‘Yaadon ki Bahar’ right from the start.

Connecting homeopathy and music, Dr. Batra said, "Music is healing. I believe my connection with music is as a healer and not as a doctor. Everything in life is like music, like the taal there is a rhythm for life and when the rhythm gets upset one falls sick. So also if you don't have the right notes, you don't get the right music and the same is with health"

Dr Batra explained, "This programme supports the Shepherd's widow’s home in Byculla. We give them lifelong homeopathic treatment. For 10 years we have been conducting this programme for generating funds for the cause."

Commenting on the event Shatrughan Sinha said, “Dr. Mukesh Batra’s passion, talent and confidence are proof that art and culture are no one’s property. Be it singing, acting, or sculpture anyone who has the courage of their conviction to pursue a talent will be able to create magic. He is a truly commendable, laudable and exemplary individual.”

The event was also graced by many celebrities like Dolly Bindra and Mahesh Thakur. Talking about his connection with music, Thakur said, "Music is my passion; not that I sing, but any artist who considers himself an artist will be tuned to two things, that is good scripts and good melodies. Meanwhile, Bindra was all praise for Dr. Batra's singing. She said that music takes people to places and do did Dr Batra's songs which nowadays are just a memory."

Not only did Dr. Batra sing well, but the main back bone of this entire programme was the background musicians, without whom this show wouldn’t not have been so successful.
