Composer, singer and songwriter Jasleen Kaur known for her Bollywood compositions as much as her independent music will be launching a Valentine special song titled Nit Nit inspired by canine BFF’s making it India's first ever dog music video.
The song with its’ soothing synths is written, composed and sung by Jasleen Kaur while the video is directed by Dar Gai.
Jasleen Royal states, “The song is about a girl going through a heartbreak and her dog helps her to discover herself again. It explores the unsaid bond between a pet and a human and how your dog is your best friend. In the video I have featured my own dog which makes it really personal and special. Kobe is someone who makes Bombay home for me and is a perfect playmate and a companion. Infact this song is inspired by a true life incident I faced years ago and I can safely say you don’t need men to validate your worth and happiness.”
Jasleen’s journey from India’s Got Talent to Bollywood has been incredible and a noticeable one. Having recorded for Hindi, Punjabi, Gujrati and English language songs, she won the Best Indie Song Award at the MTV Video Music Awards for her debut track Panchhi Ho Javan. This song was based on the poem papered by Shiv Kumar Batavi. She has also released other singles like Din Shagna Da and Maye Ni. She has also recorded a reprise version of Amar Drawing Khata from the Bengali movie ‘Chhaya O Chhobi’.
