Vivek Sharma popularly known by his stage name XR is a Hindi rapper and songwriter from Delhi, India.

He has been making music since 2014 and has been working as an independent artist. An IITian by education, XR has been trying to make a career in a profession which is not very usual in his line of education. Being a music lover since childhood, he started writing at the age of 18. So far, he has released more than 40 songs ranging from freestyles to theme songs, storytelling raps , conscious raps on topics like farmer suicides, societal discrimination, cross border hatred, and raps with heavy lyricism and sick flows. He released a mixtape back in 2018 which was featured on ATKT.in

XR has performed on multiple occasions in events at in Mumbai and in a few open mics in Hyderabad and Delhi. As an artist, he tries to make songs which convey a fruitful message and end up inspiring the people in the society.

In his latest release, Khud Ke Liye he talked about Self Love which is one of the most underrated things in our society. Due to peer pressure, people end up doing things which they think others will like. The song revolves around the message that we should start appreciating our life, accept our humanness and learn from our failures. Our main goal should be to fall in love with ourselves is indeed the first secret to happiness. The track is produced by Vancouver based music producer OP Beatz and has been engineered by Aniket.
