Bacardi Sessions has launched its latest track Nach Le shortly after this season’s mentors, Vidya Vox and Nucleya, announced the winners last month. This track was made in collaboration with the YouTube phenomenon, known for her mashups and mentor, Vidya Vox, and the winners Trichia Grace-Ann and Shrey Jadav. It was dropped on Spotify and then subsequently on YouTube over the weekend.
Dedicated to all the “Desi baddies”, it’s a power song for all women. It beautifully tries to capture the moment when women finally take a break from making everyone else happy and prioritize themselves, letting their hair down, doing what moves them and dancing like nobody’s watching. The vibe and the groove of the song makes it difficult to sit still.
Speaking of the song-making process Bacardi, Vidya Vox said, “It was really fun! It felt like a party vibe from the get go. Trichia and Shrey, too, felt the vibe immediately and it was one of the exciting collaborations we’ve ever done! Trichia had a feistiness and a Desi baddie attitude in her entry which we thought was so different from the rest. We also loved Shrey’s vocal quality, as well as the soulfulness in his renditions. He was so unique that we had to choose him as well! I’m so excited it is out for everyone to listen to. Hope we can all dance to it at a party soon.”
Excited about the win and the first song, Trichia Grace-Ann said, “The song came together super smoothly! My beats being liked by Vidya on the spot was an accomplished feeling for me. It’s a song that all age groups can vibe to!”
Shrey Jadav, winner for this season said, “This song has brought some chill and fun vibes alive, and given the year 2020, think we all needed to let our hair down and just do what moves us. It’s super fun and empowering, and makes you want to nod your head and groove to it. Not every emerging artist gets to work with the likes of Vidya Vox and that can be a game changer in one's career.”
