Sanjana Devarajan, a talented singer-songwriter from Mumbai, brings you her latest pop single Bhool, a song about love and forgiveness.Mumbai based singer-songwriter Devarajan, is best known for her sharp-witted lyrics and catchy melodies. Sanjana’s music is a blend of unique and familiar.

“I wrote "Bhool" in 2019 and finished the finaI recording in December 2020. This song is extremely close to my heart as it's my first Hindi Single.I wrote this song as an apology. I had hurt someone I truly cared about. And this was my way of letting them know how important they are to me. Initially, in 2019 I had put out a 1 minute snippet of this song onto my Instagram for a contest. I didn't win that contest but something wonderful happened. Victory Music found the song, loved it and reached out”, says the 22 year old singer.

The Victory Music owners Yash Jain and Jagrat Jain fell in love with the song after listening to only 30 seconds of the song.“We came across the song and Sanjana on a social media platform, and we were sure we had to release this song to the world. We contacted Sanjana and as we expected she did a fantastic job in creating the entire song. We are very happy with the entire project and the team which helped us create this melodious song”.

Says Sanjana “Last year in 2020 I independently released my debut 4 track EP called "Mood". All those 4 songs are written, composed and sung by me. My music is very lyrically biased. And my influences are The Script, Imagine Dragons, Taylor Swift.  And my absolute favourite Indian composer is Amit Trivedi Sir. He creates magic, every time. I most certainly do. I'd love to work with many artists that I look up to! I had learnt Carnatic music as a 6 year old and later I also trained in western classical music. I'm the only one in my family who has chosen a non-academic career path”.
