Bacardi Sessions dropped its eagerly awaited second track Kanaa, shortly after the first track Nach Le which was launched last month. This track was made in collaboration with one of the most celebrated indie artist, Nucleya, and the winners Sublahshini and 2jaym.

The track captures the feeling of dreams and love, with the idea of continued perseverance with the lyrics bringing in a twist and flavor of a love song with two characters searching for each other in their idea of a dream.

Speaking of the song, Nucleya said, “Both the talented winners, Sublahshini and 2Jaym were extremely easy to work with, and I think they needed just the right amount of space, and guidance to be able to bring their own touch to this track. I’m definitely very excited about this song and we are collectively happy with the way the collaboration has turned out!”

Thrilled about the win and the track, Sublahshini said, “It was an amazing opportunity for an artist like me, I would have never imagined that I would get such a chance. I have been following all the previous winners and it is heart-warming to see how they have all grown. It was such a pleasure to be a part of this and it still feels surreal that I am one of the winners. Nucleya and I didn't have similar styles and in my opinion, that made it all the more interesting. At first the melodies looked like they didn't belong in the same song but it magically came together so well!”

2jaym, one of the winners for this season said, “I enjoyed every moment of the process, Learning from someone as experienced as Nucleya, was so inspiriting and eye opening. This platform has enabled budding artists like me to reach a much wider audience and given us a chance to do what moves us.”
