In the second half of last year right up until December, Zarir Warden released 3 singles under his solo artist project “Warden” and since then he has been working on whole lot of new music and is all set to release his next single which is slated for release on August 13th, 2021. This is a song titled Good Love.
The song is different from the few songs that he has done so far.
Says Warden, “'Good Love' is single #4 that I'm releasing. It's actually a bit different from the first three that I released last year, but the overall vibe from a songwriting point of view is pretty similar. The song, especially the verses, speaks about desire, want and even desperation for someone out there that just seems "out of reach". The choruses on the other hand speak about closeness, intimacy and even intensity to a point. Being with someone and being so close to someone that literally feel like your "hearts are beating as one".
The words "Good love" refer to just treating each other well, adds Warden, treating someone with kindness and care and love and happiness and most importantly, respect. “As a song, I wanted to ensure that it is extremely relatable to anyone listening to it anywhere around the world. The chorus has a beautiful melody (if I may say so myself) and hook to it and from the breakdown onwards, my vision was very clear - LET'S TAKE IT TO CHURCH. I'm hoping all this comes through for the listener”
The process of writing the song was simple and came to himm very easily and very naturally. Like the first few songs he’s released, he’s worked on this one with producer Ben Pelchat based in Toronto, Canada. Everything was done over Zoom with vocals recorded through his home setup in his room.
At the first listen the song is like always a catchy tune that sticks in your mind even after you have heard it.
