Nothing expresses this sentiment better than Music, which is beyond all barriers. Sixteen exemplary Indian artists across genres, have come together to present the ultimate offering to mark this momentous occasion. Conceptualized by Nanni Singh, Composed by Ravi Iyer and with powerful Lyrics by Loy Chacko, this song has been Mixed-Mastered by the renowned Aslam Khan.
“This is a production of love and bonding. The concept of the song arose from the desire to represent what our country stands for, through music. At ShowCase Events, we believe that music is beyond all barriers, and this song is an amalgamation of the collective sounds and moves of our country. 16 artists and a dedicated production team came together to create what we are tremendously happy to call ‘Our Song’,” says Nanni with pride.
Dhanashree Pandit-Rai says, “No greatness can be achieved without some craziness right at the start. The most exciting part for us all was to see the song germinate bit by bit. First, we got the catchy melodic line, then the lyrics came in and seamlessly blended with the music, then came the instrumental bits, and vocal parts from different artists. Each time the song would come back with something added in, and watching it grow was very exciting!”
Nritya Samragni Renowned Bharatnatyam exponent and Choreographer Sohini Roychowdhry says, “Love stories like gypsies travel from place to place. For us, that is Synthesis- The Indian muse.”
Synthesis - The Indian Muse is both regional and global at once. It is as if a whole concert has been packed into one song. Multiple genres and art forms from around India have been represented in a four-minute exclusive presentation. One can sample Classical, Sufi and Folk genres.
