Daniel Beck who prefers to be addressed as Lohigh, is an indie-experimental artist from Mumbai who has been creating quite a storm in the last few months with his out of the box music that appeals to a wide range of listeners.

Lohigh states that his strengths are instruments and vocals. “As an instrumentalist, I play multiple instruments but always fall back to my guitar every night. I pioneer in music production and have a homegrown studio initiative of my own called Soul Waters Studio”.

His first single Ignoring Me is an upbeat production, with guitar, dreamy synths and experimental vocals. The song speaks about the feeling of one-sided love, a generic idea of today. The music evokes a feeling of freedom and resonation as if one were driving down the street late at night, with no worries in their mind. This creates a contrast between the melancholic lyrics, and has a more hopeful, and pleasant appeal.

His latest work to date is Boom Box which is just out. Lohigh also plans on releasing a music video at a later date. The song has a happy-go-lucky chord structure, with dreamy synths, and a cheerful hook. It dives into the feelings of being hopelessly in love in an almost child-like manner, making the listener feel bright even on a dull day.

With two songs to his credit, Lohigh is an artist to watch out for in the months to come. The 20 year old singer – songwriter has a lot of plans chalked out for 2022.
