Mumbai-based model and artist, Naisha, shows off her new avatar as a singer-songwriter, with her debut single, Kamikaze, via Export Quality Records, the record label arm of Third Culture Entertainment. Composed and co-produced by Naisha herself, Kamikaze celebrates her indulgence in self-love, self-appreciation, and her identity as a brown girl.

Naisha grew up listening to strong, beautiful women with an unapologetic view about life and freedom, such as Stephanie Mills, Lauryn Hill, Nina Simone and more. Kamikaze is filled with that femme energy and inspired by instances from Naisha’s life, seeing herself and the women around her go through all they do, never being acknowledged or appreciated.

“It came to me on a day when I wasn't feeling my best and felt bogged down by outside noise. Often you don't give yourself credit for how you’ve survived, balanced and evolved through life. Kamikaze helped me take a second to think about myself and give myself love and appreciation that isn’t coming from outside.
