The independent music scene in India is brimming with talent. Every day, social media and different streaming platforms witness a surge of new songs and new artists, busy creating something beautiful and mellifluous. Extending their support to indie artists and their creations is Hungama Artist Aloud, a platform that promotes independent content. Taking that initiative to the next level, they today announce the very- first edition of Indian Independent Music Award (IIMA). The Grand Finale of this award show will be held on 25^th March, 2022.

Consumer voting for IIMA is open through the website between 1^st February and 15^th February, 2022. The winners in each category will be decided by who gets the maximum votes. Listeners are welcome to make their favourite song or artist take the trophy home. All the winners will be announced at the Grand Finale event in March.

The Indian Independent Music Awards is a digital only property which recognizes outstanding artists, living in the country or any other part of the world, for their content released in India, either directly by the artists themselves or through labels.

Speaking about IIMA and voting announcement for the grand finale of the award show, Soumini Sridhara Paul, Senior Vice President, Hungama Artist Aloud says, “The Indian Independent Music awards perfectly ties in with our core philosophy and helps us honour the vast repertoire of the independent artists and their art.
