The Maria Kong Dance Company was founded five years ago in Tel Aviv and has creative artists from Israel, France, Russia and Brazil, who meld their talents to create state-of-the-art productions that touch the heart and open the mind. The group comprises dancers, musicians, and specialists in the art and technology of sound, light, visual effects and video.
Open Source Live is Maria Kong's show, performed by the company's amazing dancers and music by the electro/rock band "TINY FINGERS".
Open Source takes place on a woman's wedding night, in the split second when, moments before marrying, the bride to be looks into the mirror and all her deepest fears, fantasies and most hidden desires reveal themselves. Little does she know that both she, and all the characters in the show, are in reality existing only inside of a virtual game, programmed and are controlled by the "All Time Gamers." Infatuated by the bride to be, the Gamer enters his own game in order to win her heart. Together, they join forces for one kicking, live, and electric experience.
