Architects and longtime friends, Pranav Jadhav and Siddhartha Ghosh share an innate passion for experimental music. Known by his stage name, The Psy Owl, Siddhartha has learned under the tutelage of mentors from the legendary Indian fusion band "Advaita". Pranav, a.k.a. PRNV, on the other hand is a popular Mumbai based Dj/Producer who is mainly known for his Progressive House playstyle. Having struck a chord with each other in college at School of Planning and Architecture, ‘The Sacred Geometry’ took shape as the duo’s dorm room project. ‘Vrajya’ is their debut EP.

Coming from an architectural background, ‘The Sacred Geometry’ draws their inspiration from the golden ratio, biomimicry, parametric design among other concepts. In taking their inspiration from mother nature, the tracks naturally capture the fleeting boundary between order and chaos.

Introspection, Truth, Khwaaishein and Lunar Myth take the protagonist through his journey of self discovery using melodic Lo-Fi samples mixed with ambient house beats and soundscapes. The aim of the project is to invoke all the senses of the listener and to capture the fleeting essence of a space without boundaries. The music is designed with care for the listener to perceive everything from the centre of it all.

The Sacred Geometry is a novel experiment that draws parallels from architecture to design their soundscapes. It is a sound to behold where the arrangement and composition rely on the use of number theories and maths formulae in a quest to record the melody of nature albeit with scientific virtuosity.

The Sacred Geometry is a difficult yet enthralling collaborative project of two architects / indie electronic artists / producers " The Psy Owl " and " PRNV ". Coming from different styles and school of thoughts, this project is an amalgamation of granulated lo-fi sounds, sampling and signature elements and sounds inspired from old school hip hop by PRNV (a.k.a. Pranav Jadhav) with the ambient down tempo type flow, synthesised soundscapes and lush layered vocals of The Psy Owl (a.k.a. Siddhartha Ghosh). The project came into being during their years together in college and took a proper shape from India Film Projects' 50 hour music challenge wherein they participated as a team in 2021 and have been working on tracks together ever since.
