15th July saw the release of the debut single from Naari, the stunning album highlight Maybe It’s Love taken from her self titled debut album. At it’s core it is a celebration of the many types of love, beyond gender and classifications; a portrait of the joy of coming together as the world briefly opened up in early summer 2021, after what is known as the second lockdown.

Maybe It’s Love is accompanied by an amazing video directed by Paulo Zambaldi – the world famous fashion photographer and videographer whose previous works have included campaigns for Armani, Rolex, Nike, Adidas, L’Oreal, LA Perla and most recently for Saint Laurent. Featuring a truly diverse cast of Naari’s friends it captures the playful essence and yet the deep joy of the song – and naturally – it looks gorgeous.

Naari hails from Delhi via Berlin, the cosmopolitan melting pot that she now calls home. It was here that the internationally renowned artist and producer Fin Greenall (aka fink) heard her early acoustic recordings and immediately fell in love with the sound, the voice and the attitude of this astonishing new voice in music – and immediately agreed to record and produce her debut in his Berlin studio – enlisting friends from all over the world to make the album a joyful reality

This debut single is released on Berlin label House Of Strength – the home and label of the artist  Mentrix – specialising in giving young artists, especially Women Of Colour, a platform to grow their own artistic vision in an environment of freedom and artistic diversity.

Naari’s Maybe It’s Love the debut single, is the beginning of the journey, the start of a relationship with the world, released on 15th July. Naari’s debut album is released in the Autumn of 2022 with a barrage of festival dates, release parties and gigs.

Neeraja aka Naari, is a musician and vocalist from New Delhi, India. Her artistry transcends the confines of time, space and genre. Her music is a breath of fresh air, that doesn't shy away from showing raw emotion. She currently lives in Berlin.
