22nd August, 2022Aruj Arya (aka Venoz) is a DJ/ Music Producer from Gurgaon, India. He has been producing music since the past 5 years and has produced various genres such as EDM, Bass Music, Hip Hop.
When he started out, he put out 2-3 DJ mixes on Mixcloud which immediately broke into Hardwell and Afrojack charts on Mixcloud. He has multiple releases on European labels such as Ay Yo Trip!, Monsterwolf Music etc. His remixes have been featured by big YouTube channels such as Dubstep n Trap, Cloaked Sounds. His tracks have been featured by Rolling Stone India, RedFM 93.5
Recently he released a Hindi track Raahi which he specially made for his sister’s wedding.
According to hi, Raahi is a Hindi Bollywood style pop track. A first in this genre by Venoz, this track was specially made for his sister’s wedding. The inspiration behind Raahi was to create something to celebrate and capture the emotion of the occasion. It was decided to use both Indian elements and electronic elements and create an Indian Traditional and Electronic fusion. Dholaks, Indian string instruments and Guitars were used along with electronic synthesizers to create the music.
He brought in Aatif to write vocals and sing and he did a pretty good job. The lyrics of the track tell the journey of two people in love. The lyrics start with telling that the two people have chosen each other as the one who would accompany on their journey of their life. The lyrics then progress to saying that they have made a promise to each other that they would be there for each other in their journey no matter what. The lyrics end by saying that the two people have fallen in love so deeply that they have basically become a single entity. The track ends with an orchestral part which perfectly captures the emotion of two people making the huge promise of spending their lives with each other and being each other’s support during the good and hard times.
