Independent singer Ritwick Das’ debut single is an eclectic mix of classical and acoustic instruments. The song Forever encapsulated the beautiful journey of life lived and cherished. Witten and produced by the singer the song is a saga of love, friendship and care intertwined together. On the release of his debut song Ritwick Das says, “Forever is my personal favourite and It holds immense importance for me. I initiated drafting the song back in 2007 when I met the love of my life – my then girlfriend and now my wife. I completed the song only in 2015. Building a strong relation is a continuous process and this song is a testimony of that. The song speaks about the nurture and care that acts as a base of any relationship. I see this song as a love story brought to life which can easily relate to all of the people who’ve waited and worked hard on their relationships.”

Forever is a mesmerizing saga, one that is filled with meaningful vocals and romance - tinged sound. Ritwick is currently working on his other singles which are due to be released later this year, followed by an album and extended play (EP). For those who may not know, Ritwick is a talented musician and singer-songwriter from New Delhi, who believes in writing songs that not only talk about his life and his own journey but also about the lives and journeys of others through their eyes. He started with music quite young from the age of 7. Before beginning to write, Ritwick studied the tabla, piano and guitar for many years. His major influences include Eric Clapton, Ed Sheeran, James Blunt and David Gilmour amongst others.
