07th March, 2023Siddhant Mishra is an Indie-pop singer-songwriter and music producer based in Mumbai, known for his heartfelt and conversational songwriting and intimate vocals. His songwriting generally stems from feelings and emotions he encounters, painting a deep, yet simple picture for his listeners to relate to.
He finds inspiration in artists like Coldplay, John Mayer, Pink Floyd, Finneas, Lauv and Prateek Kuhaad. Siddhant’s released catalogue consists of six singles and a nine track album Ehsaas that released in December 2021.
After his B.Tech and a year of being employed at TCS, Chennai, he took the decision to quit his IT job and pursue his passion for music. After moving to Mumbai, Siddhant worked as an assistant programmer to leading music producers before starting off as a freelance music producer himself.
Siddhant began releasing his own music independently in 2019, and has been fortunate to be included in key editorial playlists both on Apple music as well as Spotify.
His main purpose is to reach people through his music and articulate the most basic yet rarely expressed thoughts and emotions, that everyone can relate to.
His upcoming track Aabaad Ho is an Alt-Rock number about a conversation between man and his maker. Aabaad Ho is an Indie Alt-Rock song about a conversation between a man who has very little in life and God, the almighty. The song is neither in praise of God, nor in dissent. It is a neutral and unbiased dialogue the man has with his maker, after losing hope. The song was released on 22nd February, 2023.
Mishra, a singer-songwriter / music producer based in Mumbai, music delves in the Indie-Pop zone with mild influences of Rock, Electronic, and Indian music. “I hope to further widen the scope of sound I am able to achieve in my future releases” says the singer who has been widely reviewed by various publications around the country.
