Corner Café Chronicles is an electro-rock experience. Formed in 2017, the band has performed over 100 shows countrywide over the last 4 years.

Their music is best described as a multi-genre amalgamation of rock, electro and art. With themes ranging from psychology and sustainability, we create an environment that resonates positively with the upliftment of the listener.

The band consists of Chinmay Patkar (Vocals/Synth/Guitars/FX), Soumitra Vichare (Vocals/Synth/Bass/Samples) and Rounak Chawla (Lead Guitars).

The band started out in 2018 releasing two singles and a six track EP which the band has released  as ‘Renaissance I’, a two-part album in June 2020. In another first, the band lead a unique and successful Reverse Crowdfunding Campaign. ‘Renaissance I’ brings the alternative sound to the present with an urge to revive the thoughts that have long stayed redundant.

The album as a concept promotes change. Change is the only constant in life, and it often suffers resistance. Societal changes are very rarely seen as a personal one. Hence, all that Renaissance and thereby Corner Café Chronicles asks of their listeners to just make one significant change – to start questioning things, developing curiosity, and thinking again.

The society and the many issues it holds needs a fresh pair of eyes and ears. Renaissance lays down a few issues ranging from the abuse of nature to depression, from inherent greed to sexual freedom and directs the listeners’ minds to absorb and react.

Part II of the album is on it's way, lined up for 2023 of which one of the singles DIY Generation is already out (2021) and well received and playlisted in a lot of playlists. Next single Paradise Drive is set to release soon.

For the moment the band has released a new single Homebound that addresses the fundamental anxiety-provoking question that wears down every artist in their lifetime - Who are we in this vast collection of noise? The song dives into the mind of an artist as they question their place, only to learn to appreciate themselves in order to continue doing what they love the most.

The song has been in the making since the last 4 years. It brings a new flavour to their soundscape with industrial synthesizers, experimental vocals and guitars to form a unique world for itself.
