Mumbai Based Rapper - Preeti Sutar aka HashtagPreeti representing her crew Wild Wild Women, brings in her own quirky flavors with a strong identity for her listeners and fans, she speaks about her differences her journey as an Artist & Aims on seeing changes in society with her Rhymes

Preeti Sutar is 27 years old, grew up in a town called Vasai, Mumbai; always curious about Art and Music, clueless about her purpose she started her song writing journey when she was 22 years old, inspired by Hip Hop, Pop, Punk rock & Afro music, she grew as a songwriter followed by her interests in journaling and Poetry.

Kaya is HashtagPreeti’s third single, a variance from her previous sounds and style, wanting the need to be connected to her true listeners Preeti wrote a song about herself that suits her personality and thoughts about Love and life with a positive aura. She introduces her listeners to herself with this track and calls it one of her best works to date. The Beat Producer of this Song - Vedang brings justice to the feeling, energy and style she wants to portray. It took a month to compose, write and frame the song.

Preeti is excited about putting it out to the world and making her manifestations work harder as written in her lyrics.  She says, “Kaya speaks about loving myself, my femininity and the power of grace. Inspired by looking at myself and my differences from all the women around me, It celebrates all parts of me, manifests abundance, goodness, glory and more power”.

Preeti is also one of the founder members of her all-female Hip hop Collective Wild Wild Women, a community and movement that supports women’s rights and Women in Music, India. Started from Rapping and Performing in Street Cyphers

She’s touched down various music festivals around the country like NH7 Weekender Pune, Covelong Classic Music Festival, Chennai, SoFar and much more.

Her skills with performing and writing are seeing colours with her passion for music, and she aims on being a full-time artist and believes her obsession with Music is taking her places.
