For those who came in late, Hridayam is a contemporary rock duo based out of Pune, India. Formed in 2019, this act was the thought child of singer-songwriter Aishwarya Tiwari and ace drummer Shubham Chand Sahu. Both Tiwari and Sahu belong to humble backgrounds and small towns, but eventually found common grounds on making original music.

The frontman of the band, Aishwarya hails from Chhattisgarh and boasts of showing signs of being a songwriter since the age of 13. Currently working full time for a large banking conglomerate, he is pretty active in the Pune LIVE Music Scene. His inspirations range from Freddie Mercury to Arijit Singh and a little bit of Coldplay on the side. Subham is a young and talented musician from Odisha who is a software developer for the pocket, but on the inside, it’s all about the passion. With inspirations like Benny Greb, Larnell Lewis, Jai Row Kavietc, Sahu is a self-taught drummer and loves listening to the likes of Alterbridge to Breaking Benjamin to even AR Rahman.

Office-goers by choice and musicians at heart, they have teamed up to explore a plethora of genres under the umbrella of being a modern rock act. They aim to reflect on human emotions through their original material and are quite experimental with their content. While on the macro, their music might point towards Rock, the micro shows a diversity of genres from Indian Classical to Electronica to even elements of Folk. They already have a single out on all streaming platforms called Riwayat and have planned a series of releases ahead.
