'Songs of Trance 2': Amit Trivedi sets the night ablaze with his new album

Music maestro Amit Trivedi, who has previously wowed the world with his magical compositions, is back to mesmerize audiences with new sounds. The genius behind the successful album 'Song of Trance' now presents 'Songs of Trance 2.' The album, which was launched in a grand event on Tuesday night at Social in Khar, Mumbai, saw the attendance of prominent musicians, writers, and key figures from the music industry.

'Songs of Trance 2' has been released under his independent label, Amit Trivedi Azaad. This album features a total of six songs, namely Jhoome Nain, sung by Amit Trivedi himself, Puttha Paasa, Bairi Birha, Shariyat-E-Dil, Fursat, and Jhumme Raat.

The event was graced by notable figures from the industry, including, Papon, Shalmali Kholgade, lyricist Kumar, fellow singer Sharvi Yadav, Geet Sagar, lyricist AM Turaz, and Siddharth Garima.

Each song in the album "Songs of Trance 2" has its own unique flavor. Jhoome Nain is an uplifting and euphoric love song, sung by Amit Trivedi himself and penned by Kumaar. On the other hand, Puttha Paasa, the second song from the album, is an anti-love anthem that blends Punjabi-electronic fusion with a heavy bassline. It is performed by Amit Trivedi, Mast Ali, Sharvi Yadav, and Geet Sagar. The third song, titled Bairi Birha, is a groovy electro number that narrates a story of longing and miscommunication. It is sung by Amit Trivedi, Varsha Singh Dhanoa, and Geet Sagar.

The fourth song, Shariyat-E-Dil, is a Ghazal-trance fusion that celebrates the idea that love knows no limits. It is performed by Papon and music composer Amit Trivedi. Fursat, the fifth song, is an Indian classical-electro fusion that celebrates love and companionship in a groovy, easy-listening composition. It is sung by Rupali Moghe. Lastly, the sixth song, titled Jhumme Raat, is set against a spooky electro backdrop and tells a haunting tale of a chance encounter. It is sung by Amit Trivedi. The entire album is composed by Amit Trivedi.

Speaking about the album, Trivedi said, "This album is the closest to my heart. When trance collides with different genres, 'Songs of Trance' is formed. This album is a labor of love, and each and every technician, singer, and lyricist associated with the album has given their best. I couldn't be happier. I can't wait for the audience's reactions."

Released on the musician’s independent label, Amit Trivedi Azaad, (AT Azaad), and distributed by Believe, the album has six songs covering various genres right from ghazal trance, electronic beats, to deep house vibes and heavy basslines.

The album is now available on all streaming platforms.
