Singer Kavya Trehan puts out music that depicts her thoughts, views, perceptions and gives the listener a deeper glimpse into her world. The intention is to create a bond with her fans through music where they get to know her better, hence the name of her debut EP following suit. Her new single Seal It is about death, exhaustion, angst, loneliness and how despite it all one must still move on.

We live as if there are countless days ahead. We fail to seize the moment and grab the opportunities to enjoy life to its fullest, do things that make our hearts sing, or express how we feel about the ones we cherish the most. It always seems that we will be able to do that 'later', when the only thing we really have is now. With Kalmi on production duties ‘Seal It’ is about goodbyes and last wishes exploring the conflict between knowing all things come to end and how to express and communicate the love before it gets too late.

“It's a track about endings. I always wondered what I would write, maybe a letter, maybe a song. The last paragraph explores the conflict between knowing that all life comes to an end and the desperation and angst of not living it to the fullest knowing the same” says Kavya.

Following her debut EP ‘Know Me Better’ released in 2021, Kavya has been on a relentless spree of collaborating with artists - Indian and international alike to quench her thirst of sharing creativity, learning and getting inspired from her peers. With Hyderabad based producer, Kalmi on co-production and arrangement duties you will notice a lot of cinematic influences that magnify the concept of the eternal cycle of life and death creating a platform for the young lad to experiment and give it that extra edge.

But that’s not all - the track took shape after a fun video was captured by dear friend and Director / DOPKshiteej Sainion a mere demo. The outcome which was nothing less than a beautiful piece of art with actor Ahmed Laissaoui’simprovised dance routine motivated Kavya to work backwards and develop this track so that she could share this content with the world.

This artistic journey unfolds in two parts— the first, a snapshot of 2019's earlier style, and the second, a fresh take on their evolved styles in 2023. Seal It is a time-traveling sonic experience, inviting you to witness the dynamic transformation of these artists' creative landscapes.
