Dr Soma Ghosh launched her 23rd album 'Chaand Tanha – a tribute to Meena Kumari' at an event called Puchte Ho, toh Suno at the Rangsharda auditorium, Bandra, Mumbai. Music composer Ravindra Jain and BJP minister, Vidya Thakur, launched Somaji’s album. At the event Dr. Ghosh performed ghazals and nazms from her album Chaand Tanha, Ek Baigani si Khushi mein, Mere Meheboob and many more.Rishika Mishra the granddaughter of Kathak queen SitaraDevi also performed at the event.
Seen at the event were composer Vivek Prakash, music director and Himesh Reshammiya's father Vipin Reshammiya, actress Anjana Mumtaz and Mahnaz Damania of Humpty Sharma ki Dulhaniya fame, singer/poet from Doordarshan Sailesh and senior vice president id8 Media Solutions Shalini Chuganee.
Worldwide records have recorded this album and Mr. Vivek Prakash composes the music. The album is now out in stores.
