Ricky Kej’s new album 'Break of Dawn' is a culmination of my musical journey, returning to his roots of creating Indian raag-based ambient relaxing music.

"Break Of Dawn" is deeply inspired by nature, with each song based on an Indian classical raag. As an environmentalist, Kej has always believed that "The impurities of the environment are in direct relation to the impurities of the mind. So, to solve any issue we face as a species, we need to first purify our minds, and what better way to bring about mental wellness than through music.

Kej is grateful to have worked with amazing artists around the world to create 'Break of Dawn' and am happy that the outcome is exactly how he envisioned it without any compromises. This release is particularly special as it is the first album for "Vedam Records", a brand-new record label by Universal Music. Universal Music join forces with Verve Records (home to Jon Batiste, Samara Joy, and Arooj Aftab) for "Break Of Dawn". Says Kej “They gave me far more creative freedom than I experienced as an independent artist and the confidence to follow my heart completely.. this album is truly a piece of me”

Kej also states that four new music videos will be released soon.
