Alan Walker was in India this month, and I had the incredible opportunity to watch him live in Bangalore on Friday 4^th October 2024. 

Walker is a famed Norwegian DJ and music producer, known for his tracks Faded and Alone. The tour was arranged by Sunburn Festival and covered many cities in India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Shillong, Kochi, and Chennai, to name a few. 

In Bangalore, the concert was held in the NICE grounds, an expanse of ground with an ability to hold thousands of people. A throng of fans poured in from different parts of Bangalore to listen and groove to their favorite DJ.

The show kicked off with a spectacular drone show with the word WALKER and his logo lighting up the evening sky. Fans, young and old, swayed, bounced, and frolicked to Alan’s upbeat music. Little did the Bangaloreans know that they were in for a big surprise. Bollywood superstar Alia Bhatt walked in on stage with a “Namaskara Bengaluru," and the excitement of the fans knew no bounds. Her song Chal Kudiye from her newly released movie ‘Jigra’ played in the background.

Alan also made a special gesture for RCB fans. He played Team Side, a song he created exclusively for the RCB team. The event ended with a shower of confetti and fireworks in the sky, leaving the fans in awe and high spirits.
