India’s longest running  multi-genre music festival, NH7 Weekender, is gearing up for its 15th edition, co-presented by The House of McDowell’s Soda, at Teerth Fields in Pune on 14th and 15th December, 2024.

‘The Happiest Music Festival’, is set to feature more than 30 homegrown and global artists across multiple stages. Attendees can look forward to enjoying diverse genres of music, from Pop, R&B, Hip-Hop, to Electronic, film pop  and more.  Check out these must-watch artists at NH7 Weekender this edition:

International Sensations Featuring Jorja Smith, Craze, Youngr, Asterism, And Oliver Cronin

British singer-songwriter and Grammy nominee Jorja Smith is set to make her India debut at NH7 Weekender. Renowned for her dynamic vocals, Jorja has collaborated with icons like Kali Uchis, Stormzy, Kendrick Lamar on the Black Panther soundtrack, Drake on Get It Together, and Childish Gambino on Feels Like Summer.

Craze, a renowned turntablist and the only consecutive three-time DMC World Champion, is set to bring his high-energy sets to the NH7 Weekender stage.  Known for his innovative approach, his sets are a masterclass in incorporating elements of hip-hop and drum n bass.

With more than 150 million streams globally, Youngr, a multi-instrumental UK-based musician, is celebrated for his unique whisk of pop, electronic, and indie elements in his music. Known for hits with anthems like Out of My System, RICH!, Tried So Hard, Youngr has won over audiences at major festivals worldwide, including Tomorrowland, Latitude, SXSW, Boardmaster, and more.

Asterism, a three-piece instrumental, heavy metal band, is leading a new genre called “Mass Metal” with boundary-pushing sounds and stunning visuals. Prepared to deliver a high-octane immersive music experience, the band can transport you to another dimension.

Rounding out the international lineup is Australian pop artist Oliver Cronin. With the release of his debut EP ‘Beautiful Nightmare’ and joining a brand new label, Cronin is ready to make his India debut on the  NH7 Weekender stage.

Bollywood Legends And Iconic Tunes With Amit Trivedi And Usha Uthup

National Award-winning composer Amit Trivedi, celebrated for his diverse music, is set to headline the 15th edition of NH7 Weekender 2024. Known for his soulful soundtracks in films like Dev.D, Queen, Lootera, Udta Punjab, and Qala, amongst others, his work blends genres, capturing a range of moods and cultures. Beyond his film compositions, his independent label AT Azaad has released popular tracks such as Madhubala, Lagan Laagi Re, and Mootiveerana. Trivedi’s music connects with fans of all ages.

The legendary Usha Uthup has left a lasting mark on the Indian music landscape  with her distinctive style, blending Indian pop since the 1970s. With hits like Hari Om Hari, Darling, Koi Yahan Aha Nache Nache, Hai Ye Maya, her signature sarees, bold bindis, and unmatched pitch, Uthup continues to captivate audiences, bringing nostalgia and joy to fans across all ages.

Indian Hip-hop and Rap Icons, King and Raftaar

Rap stars, King and Raftaar are storytellers above everything. With his reflective lyricism and easy flow, King’s musical journey began on MTV Hustle. He later collaborated with Nick Jonas for the Maan Meri Jaan (Afterlife) that broke Spotify records alongside his single, Tu Aake Dekhle. King’s debut album in 2020 brought a fresh take to Indian hip-hop, resonating deeply with today’s youth.

Raftaar, a pioneer in Indian hip-hop, has been creating music since 2013. He began his career with You Don’t Know Me and later gained recognition as a solo artist with hits like Swag Mera Desi. With an impactful stage presence, he continues to redefine Indian rap. Both artists have significantly influenced the evolution of Indian hip-hop with their passion.

Jarreau Vandal, a Dutch producer and DJ has carved his niche with a mix of R&B, soul, and hip-hop in his electronic beats. Chaar Diwaari, known for his raw lyrics and gritty beats, captures the essence of youth with his songs. He explores complex storytelling in his music, giving hits like LOVESEXDHOKA!!, BAROOD, Rang, and Jhaag. Akshath brings a soulful blend of lo-fi and indie with his viral track Nadaaniyan.
