Akon is officially back with the worldwide release of his new single So Blue. The multi-platinum superstar, producer and entrepreneur debuted the music video for So Blue recently.

The new track was co-written by Claude Kelly [Kelly Clarkson, Britney Spears] and co-produced by Jerry “Wonda” Duplessis [The Fugees, Miguel]. The Robby Starbuck directed music video features actors Tommy “Tiny” Lister and Rose Rollins alongside AKON.

So Blue serves as a prelude to his forthcoming fourth full-length album set for release early 2014 via Republic Records. Expect his biggest and best outing yet.
