The Shankar Mahadevan Academy, a music platform founded by the award-winning composer and singer Shankar Mahadevan recently entered into a contract with Artist Aloud. Artist Aloud will be promoting and distributing the content through their distribution channels including online and on ground platforms.
The original content created by the students of The Shankar Mahadevan Academy (SMA), during the course will be collected and approved by the Academy. Out of the approved, selected music content and artists will be promoted by Artist Aloud. Artist Aloud will be distributing the approved content across 25 platforms including Hungama, iTunes and other mobile operators. Based on selection, artists will be featured on various playlists depending on genre and popularity.
Commenting on the association, Shankar Mahadevan said, “Artist Aloud is a great platform to showcase and promote music and new talented artists. The aim is to bring high-quality music online for listeners across boundaries. ”
