A believer in the power of dreams, Akshat is a creative soul and staunch follower of music. Like many, it took him several years to find his calling and identify the artist in him.

Without anyone knowing about it, he tried to carve a niche for himself in the music world. He didn’t share his artistic interests with anyone until 2014. Keeping himself isolated he practised and praised music until he got the inner instinct to get into the music and announce his affinity to this field.

Listening to Billboard, Akshat has always pictured himself in the song like all dreamers do, but unlike many he had this urge to search out for a pen and translate the rhythm to rhymes. For music comes naturally to him. Residing in Gurgaon and working for an MNC, Akshat is originally from Dehradhun. Music was always in his mind and one day he looked out for a recording studio and impulsively booked a slot to do something creative. He was nervous yet excited to go on and record something for the first time in his life. But he displayed confidence, and who wouldn’t just before stepping into your dream destination.

The studio session lasted for 6 hours and at midnight Money Trouble by AKKI J (Akshat’s stage name) came into being. A rap song that has some awesome lyrics, though it has a parental advisory rating. Which rap song doesn’t have such a rating?

Says Akshat joyfully. “Money Trouble is a mix and match of the real life, it’s about a person during his teenage years, and how with time priorities change. If he’s not showing then it doesn’t means he doesn’t know it. So the song gives you a glimpse of an average individual, a teenager who with time gains maturity and understanding towards life”.

His inspiration for such songs comes from many famous American rappers that he admires and worships.

Since then there has been no looking back. Akshat has realized his love, passion and dedication for music and how his life was incomplete until he went into the recording studio and sang out his heart.

Akshat writes, composes and sings his own songs. Songs that come straight out of his heart. His current occupation is still his corporate job, which lets him sustain the financial aspects of nurturing his dream. The dream to make more music, the dream to follow the heart, the dream to be oneself.

Besides music Akshat generates interest in football, snooker and video games. These have been a part of his interests even during academics, unlike today where most of his time is consumed by his job. Akshat has always welcomed life as it came and accepted everything either good or bad both with open arms. The dashing youngster who is sure to get many girls dancing to his song Money Trouble, says, “Whatever is supposed to happen, will happen today or the other day, so one should not sit back and be worried and tensed, instead one should keep moving facing the difficulties in life and enjoy new things”.

He concludes, “If you have a passion and courage to attempt, no matter how many times you face disappointment you will succeed”

Akshat has a long way to go and a promising career on hand. He just needs the right people to help him make that first move to the top. With a powerhouse set of vocals, dynamic personality, good voice control, he is a winner all the way. We hope he doesn't face Money Trouble.
