Eros International Media Ltd (Eros International), recently announced its association with Excel Entertainment for the worldwide release of Rock On 2.

Written and directed by debutant filmmaker, Shujaat Saudagar, Rock On 2 is the eagerly awaited sequel to the rock musical drama, Rock On. While Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli and Prachi Desai will reprise their roles from the original film, Shraddha Kapoor joins the star cast toplay the lead rolealong with Farhan Akhtar for the first time.

The film will be shot in Shillong, the rock capital of India.
