Coinciding with the release of Branko’s debut solo album, Atlas, the documentary series Atlas Unfolded will premiere a new webisode every day from August 31^st - September 4^th, 2015.

Atlas Unfolded is the visual documentation of Branko’s five-part journey to Cape Town (South Africa), New York (USA), São Paulo (Brazil), Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Lisbon (Portugal), where he worked with his favourite up-and-coming artists while taking in local inspiration. “Trying to transform a 12-hour musical relationship into something people want to listen to is a challenge,” says the Lisbon-based DJ, producer, co-founder of BurakaSom Sistema, and Red Bull Music Academy alumnus, lecturer and studio team member about his latest adventure. It finds him embarking on a sonic journey across the planet, delving into some of the most exciting music scenes in the making of his debut solo album, Atlas.

The web-series depicts real-time studio interactions: a genuine work in progress, complete with impromptu collaborations and late-night conversations with local beat makers about burgeoning new scenes and genres in the cities they each call home. After hours of work within the Red Bull Studios network and across five different cities, Atlas comes to life with a long and culturally rich list of collaborators.

Atlas Unfolded highlights the Red Bull Music Academy’s commitment to celebrating music, its culture, and the transformative minds behind it. Having followed Branko’s musical and personal path as a close collaborator for more than 13 years, the Academy enables this former participant to share his very personal journey with music fans across the globe.

To coincide with the grand finale of the series, Branko will celebrate his album release with a set from São Paulo. Red Bull Music Academy teams up with Boiler Room for a special video broadcast, the trailer and the webisode can be watched on September 4^th (10:00 pm GMT) on the website at daily.redbullmusicacademy.com.
