Earlier this year, the Red Bull Tour Bus embarked on its first ever journey for #AskForTheBus, an initiative that gives fans the chance to choose where the bus goes. Now, following a month of intense voting, the Red Bull Tour Bus is back on the road for round two of #AskForTheBus, and is headed North. The bus will begin its journey at Thapar University in Patiala on the 15^th of September, followed by Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) in Mohali on the 17^th of September.

Playing on the bus for the first time ever, the latest Bollywood sensation, rapper Badshah will headline both gigs. Known to combine international hip hop with Bollywood and Indian pop, he is the star behind some of the biggest Bollywood chartbusters of recent times – ‘Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai’ and ‘DJ Waley Babu’.

In March this year, colleges in the South Zone experienced the first-ever leg of #AskForTheBus. Bengaluru’s BMS College of Engineering and MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology experienced spectacular performances by the Dualist Inquiry Band, Undying Inc and Parvaaz.

Launched as an initiative to give fans the opportunity to decide where the Red Bull Tour Bus goes next, #AskForTheBus invites colleges to register and vote online, to bring the bus to their campus. Voting for the North Zone leg began on 10th August and continued through to 25th August, during which time a number of colleges fought closely to claim rights to host the bus.

Since it hit the road in October 2013, the Red Bull Tour Bus has taken music to every corner of the country in spectacular fashion, from colleges in Chandigarh, Guwahati, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad, to the biggest music festivals in the biggest metros.
