We all have had a teacher that we admired and loved. The ones we’ve watched growing up, the ones who’ve been the biggest parts of our sub-conscious personalities and who we believe have helped shape our lives. Topay homage to those teachers on their very special day, Culture Machine, South Asia’s leading digital video entertainment network, presents an interesting music video titled ‘Veena Vadini’ in association with renowned guitar player and music composer – Ravi Iyer.
The music video is a unique blend of Indian ragas with the characteristic v-ravi guitar sound. The lyrics of the songis adapted from the original poem written by the famous poet Shri Suryakant Tripathi Nirala and is sung by the super talented, hearing & speech impaired children from Utkarsh Mandal Mookdhwani Vidyalaya. These children, despite of their limitationshave created magic in the video thus proving that that no difficulty is bigger than our determination to achieve our dreams.
Ravi Iyer has displayed his teaching skills by training children in a different style to overcome their disabilities. Displaying his immense love for kids, Ravi went a step further and came up with a thought to record each child individually within the premises of the school at their speech and therapy sound proof room. He made sure he kept the kids in their comfort zone thus boosting their confidence to perform. Ravi has left no stone unturned to guide his students personallyalong with the help of their school teacher. Thus the kids have beautifully delivered the song meeting the expectations of their friend, philosopher and mentor, Ravi Iyer.
Veena Vadini is perceived as an ode to the goddess of knowledge and art to grant a boon for a better tomorrow. The music video with the new elements and amazing talent tries to evoke a feeling of oneness amongst all and helping to share knowledge and glory with one another.
