Teri Jhuki Nazar and Timber most downloaded song on Sony Music Jive

Sony Music Jive has witnessed a tremendous response in terms of downloads and audio streams in the year 2013. Staying at the No.1 position in the second week on the Billboard Hot 100 list, Pitbull and Ke$ha’s collaboration Timber continues to rule the Sony Music Jive app being the most downloaded track of 2013. While in the Bollywood genre of music, the very fresh, sweet and simple melody from ‘Murder 3- Teri Jhuki Nazar’ was the most downloaded track on the app.
Miley Cyrus’ Wrecking ball that made a huge impact globally was an easy entrant in the list. Daft Punk’s Get Lucky, which was the top selling song of 2013 in the United States also made it to the most downloaded songs. In addition, Grammy-nominated hit Just Give Me A Reason by Pink and Nate Ruess and One Direction’s Story of my Life were amongst the top 5 most downloaded tracks on the app.
Raanjhaana –title track and Tum Tak from the film Raanjhaana drove the entire nation crazy while the other song where everybody was shaking their 'Tooh' also received a tremendous response on the app. Zinda from ‘Bhaag Milka Bhaag’ turned out to be a pulsating anthem for all of us!
