Zeb from the famous Pop Duo Zeb and Haniya of Pakistan has achieved another milestone. Zeb has become the first Pakistani female singer to sing for A. R. Rehman for the upcoming movie “Highway”.
The much talked about soulful lullaby, Sooha Saha of the movie “Highway” for which actor Alia Bhatt has also given voice is sung by Zeb. “It’s a dream come true that I worked with A. R. Rehman” says Zeb.
Zeb made her Bollywood debut with the film ‘Madras Café’. Beside “Highway”, her upcoming projects include two Bollywood movies ‘Ghoom Kay Tu’ and ‘Running Shadi.com’. She has also been featured on the prestigious television platforms like The Dewarists and Coke Studio.

Zeb Bangash is one of Pakistan's most loved vocalists. Also a songwriter along with partner Haniya, she is the lead singer of the acclaimed duo Zeb and Haniya. Zeb made a splash on Pakistan's music scene with her debut album “Chup” and have gone on to become one of the well-loved female musicians in Asia.
Zeb is part of the first generation of Pakistani musicians to have established themselves internationally by way of social media. In particular, Zeb’s musical collaborations on Pakistan's Coke Studio program have gone viral, winning her fans well beyond Pakistan's borders.
Zeb has been a delegate at Poptech, a global conference on innovation in 2011 and is a fellow at the US Pakistan Leadership Forum since 2012. She represented Pakistan in the fall of 2012 as part of the US State Department's Center Stage project.
In 2011, Zeb along with Haniya had collaborated with Swanand Kirkire and Shantanu Moitra, for a song in TV show “The Dewarists”. This song Kaho Kya Haal hai was one of the most popular songs of the entire season and was a big hit with the youth. The success of this single, and the musical chemistry the artists shared, led to the creation of the album “Kya Khayaal Hai” in 2014.
