Tanishk Bagchi also known as Reeky is a young music programmer and composer based in Mumbai. He had started his career at the age of 9 with his father Mr. Nanda Kumar, who was the arranger for names like R.D. Burman, Salil Chaudhury and Satyajit Ray.Sharmistha Das
Tanishk's mother was the first person to teach him music, afterwhich his dad took him as his assistant while working with the maestros. Though he had a troubled early life Tanishk grew up to make a mark for himself and his family.
Tanishk has worked on several original compositions and remixes under banners like Venus, T Series, Times music, Universal and Sony Music. He has produced for music directors Sandesh Shandalya, Arko and Vishal Bharadwaj. He has a different taste of music and being a sound engineer he has a good hand on the technical aspect as well as working on the latest sound softwares and hardwares. The composer - singer also has worked with international artists from London, Boston and New York trying to create a new genre of music. He has worked on different genres of music from R n B to Classical fusion.
According to sources he is the best thing that has happened to Bollywood music industry this year. He started off his career in Bollywood with Banno Tera Swagger from ‘Tanu weds Manu Returns’ and since then there has been no looking back.
His next project was a song for Kapil Sharma's debut film ‘Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karu’ which did well. Tanishk has again stamped his mark with his new song Bol Na from Kapoor And Sons. This song is a hard core romantic number which also showcases Tanishk's versatility and talent as a music composer with Banno being a dance number. The song is trending big time in social media circuit and seems to be hitting a high. Bol Na surely seems to be the song for him.
