Ritviz's new four track EP was recently launched along with his 10-city Hindustan daura.
Music producer, singer-songwriter and rapper Ritviz who impressed audiences and critics alike with his track Mukti has released his brand new EP. Titled YUV, the four-track release showcases Ritviz’s brand of versatile arrangements combined with contemporary beats and intriguing Hindustani bass sounds.
“YUV is very important to me… I feel it defines my individuality as an artist while I hold on to traditions. I had been working on this project for over a year now and so there were a lot of phases I went through creatively speaking and to a level I couldn’t handle… I am just happy I was able to finish and hopeful that I brought the tracks to justice. The sounds I’ve used in this EP and the way I have presented them have made an impact in my wellbeing as an artist, maybe that’s why I chose call it YUV” says Ritviz.
The musician from Pune, who’s been dabbling in music since the age of 10, has already received international attention for his debut EPVizdumb and also bootleg remixes of Cash Cash's Take Me Home.
Ritviz is a music producer, composer, songwriter, singer and rapper from Pune, who started his musical career in July 2013. His debut EP, titled Vizdumb, was released on UK's Relentik Records. Being a classically trained Hindustani musician, Ritviz creates unique soundscapes that combine his love for bass and Indian classical music. Since Ritviz does not stick to any rules of a particular genre, his music spans bass, classical and hip-hop. He followed up his debut EP with bootleg remixes of Cash Cash's ‘Take Me Home’ that gained widespread attention from international music blogs such as Nada Brahma and Daily Dose of Bass. In 2015, High Chai Recordings, a US global bass music label, released his track ‘Mukti’.
