MTV EXIT and MTV present “Traffic”

Freedom is the one thing that no one can live without, but what happens when you are kept in bondage for the rest of your life? Millions of people across the globe are lured into trafficking on the pretext of providing a good living. Bringing to the small screen true stories of such experiences, MTV EXIT and MTV present “Traffic” by Anurag Kashyap, an eye opener for youth.

Produced and anchored by the ace director, the five-episode series tells the stories of different people affected by human trafficking. The first episode follows the journey of three girls from Mizoram who were forced into the sex trade. It will showcase their ordeal and their fight for a better life, and the efforts of two young men who helped them escape. With gripping narration and storytelling, the episode promises to raise awareness of human trafficking amongst young people, and encourage them to open their eyes, look around and take action.

Get ready to take a journey that will leave you stunned from this Friday, February 28, at 7 pm only on MTV.
