Singer Akriti Kakar recently released her song Batti Gul written, composed and sung by her. The song is co sung by Badtameez Dil singer and the very talented Benny Dayal who is also a very good friend ofAkriti. This song is a special one as it announces the arrival of Akriti Kakar as lyricist and a composer in this genre specially.

Akriti Kakar had composed this song one evening with her husband Chirag Arora who was not her husband then. This song was on a different brief and like every song has its own destiny, this song too had one.  This song was slated to be a single.  This song is shot in parts in a very unique way where a complete live concert is a part of the music video. This has probably never happened before. This was also a chance for an acid test for the song. The crowd reaction was amazing and after the concert people were sending videos across humming to the tune of the song. 

The concept of the song is extremely funny as it captures various both Akriti Kakar and Benny Dayal in hilarious situations having fun.
