Think you can try jumping through pits with four tons of ice, or sliding down some really scary slopes?

The Mud Rush (TMR), India’s premier adventure sports festival, owned by Sheer Event Management is back in its fourth edition to awaken your wild side. After the huge success of the previous three editions in Kolad, Dudhani and Pune, The Mud Rush is back, this time in Mumbai, bigger and better guaranteeing you much more fun and adventure than before. There’s music and adventure rolled into one.

Post the run partake in the live music playing at TMR Nation – The Experience Zone. This year the lineup for music there’s Sidd Coutto a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Mumbai most famously known as drummer of alternative rock act Zero and as frontman of Helga’s Fun Castle. Bring the house down with Bombay Basement an award winning outfit once again from Mumbai that combines sounds of Hip-Hop, Reggae, Funk and Drum & Bass. Drummer Levin Mendes and bassist Ruell Barretto got together and combined forces with Robert Omula aka Bokat a veteran emcee rapper and DJ, originally from Kenya. Lastly there’s The Colour Compound, an indie/alternative pop band. Rohan Mazumdar and Bradley Tellis play guitars whilst splitting lead vocal duties. Adil Kurwa plays bass and Aditya Ashok plays drums, percussion and handles backing vocals. The band also released their debut album ‘From Where We Stand’ in May 2014.

While you swing to the beats of these popular bands, let the shopaholic in you run wild and free at the flea market alongside satisfying your hunger pangs with gourmet meals at the food zone.

Here’s a lowdown on what more to expect at the Mud Rush.

Mud Run (Dream Run)

It is a 7 kilometre all terrain, marathon style mud run which promises stupendous fun combined with exciting new challenges at every step. Set amidst 21 exigent obstacles which will include 30 foot hay stacks, barrier walls, stretches of tyres, uphill climbs, downhill slides, fire, ice and a whole lot of mud, the event promises to be a memory you will cherish for years to come.

This race will not be about just reaching the finish line but finding yourself working on each obstacle with your new found friends on the mud track, with each friend helping another to finish the task at hand. By the time you finish, feel a sense of camaraderie and achievements overtake you like never before.

The Pro Race

This year, The Pro Race which has as many obstacles as the Mud Run but set in a longer circuit. It is not only designed to challenge you physically by testing your stamina but also to dare you mentally by shedding all your inhibitions and overcoming the various obstacles present. Let the Pro Race confront your undying spirit of adventure!

TMR Nation – The Experience Zone

This year we introduce TMR NATION, a concept that aims at building a complete 360-degree festival experience where thousands of Mud Rushers can experience ‘The MUDRUSH Bazaar’

TMR Bazaar is the coming together of a uniquely curated food and flea market platform. This Pop Up will be home to many organic and handpicked experiences wherein, we will host healthy food stations, LIVE food trucks, mock tail bars, etc while showcasing a curated Pop UP Bazaar. So come and enthrall yourself with some great food and shopping while you are on ‘A Run’. TMR NATION will also have a day-long schedule with the best live bands lined up from the city. So be prepared for a whole day of excitement, fun, and celebration with friends and family. Revive and rejuvenate in the midst of nature right within the city but away from the maddening crowd!
