Titled Tehelka, the single is the spiritual heir to Kendrick Lamar's 'Control' verse, taking aim at the so-called Presidents and Kings of Desi Hip-Hop, while at the same time raising the bar for MCs that are a part of the Indian underground hip-hop movement.
Fed up with the shallow lyricism that is usually associated with Indian hip-hop, Tehelka aims to highlight Naezy's overarching vision for hip-hop in India. The single has been produced by Sez, one of Asia's best hip-hop producers and the mastermind behind hits such as Mere Gully Mein, Asal Hustle, Haq Hai, G Mane and Jungli Sher.
With Tehelka, Naezy sets himself apart as one of the best rappers and lyricists in the country - showcasing an aggression and drive that's never been heard before in the region.
