Parikrama composes music for Viacom 18 Motion Pictures

Parikrama, the rock band, was formed in the June of 1991 in Delhi and for the past decade they have had majority of their recordings through their live performances. This band believes and prefers in giving out their music for free. Parikrama comprises of six members and is nation-wide famous for its fusion of Indian classical instruments and the conventional ones.

The band which rarely records their music in a studio, comes with their first time ever inspiration to compose music foran entire film including the background score. Three members of the band, Sonam Sherpa, Nitin Malik and Subir Malik have together composed the music for the movie Manjunath, a movie on an IIM graduate Manjunath Shanmugham, who was brutally murdered for standing up for what he believed was right. The nexus between Parikrama and Hard Rock Cafe go back in time, as they have played and given tribute to the old school rock, at the Hard Rock Cafes nation-wide.They wear the mantle of being one of India’s hardest working road warriors so it stands to reason that when Parikrama take the stage at the Hard Rock Cafe this Wednesday, it’s going to be packed with enough twists and turns to keep their fans wanting for more.
