Despite being around for decades, Iron Maiden brought in a new wave of hard rock for the very first time in Mumbai, a relief for teenagers here who are fed up with the mass market of Bollywood music.
UK’s biggest export, gave Mumbai’s metal heads a night to remember on 1st February 2008. From the over 2 hour concert two moments have been captured on the opening album CD of the movie soundtrack of Flight 666 in the form of Churchill’s Speech and the rocking Aces High.
Backed up by the four guitar syncopation of bassist Steve Harris, Dave Murray, Adrian Smith, Janick Gers and drummer Nicko McBrain, the band has included select hit songs from their concerts from the 10 countries that they performed in on their Somewhere Back In Time World Tour 2008’ with Mumbai heading the list on the CD and on tour.
