The Singer and the Song – Air Supply (Universal Music) Rs. 495/-

The kings of romance Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock of Air Supply recently completed 30 years of music together and over 20 albums to their credit. On this album, the ballad singing duo have gone back to their roots and brought an album of selected favorites that contain some of their greatest hits set in an acoustic and unplugged setting. Lost in love, All out of love, Love and other bruises, Making love out of nothing at all, The one that you love, Two less lonely people in the world and a few others make up this set of 11 tracks stripped of all background score, with only vocals and an acoustic guitar for company.

Fans of the duo who have listened to their studio recordings may not quite enjoy this version, but then this was how it was first recorded and surely it would feel great listening to the actual scores and the way it all developed at the studio.

The audio album also comes along with a separate one hour DVD that has four classic videos and behind the scenes record of 3 decades of Air Supply magic.
